Shipping policy

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We offer international shipping from Japan. Below are estimated delivery times for major regions:

  • United States: 7–14 business days

  • Europe: 7–14 business days

  • Canada: 7–10 business days

  • Australia: 7–10 business days

  • Asia: 5–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and are subject to change due to factors outside of our control, such as customs clearance.

Shipping Method

We use Japan Post International ePacket for most orders. This includes tracking and delivery confirmation.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

SAKE LID STUDIO is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees that may be incurred during international shipping. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Order Tracking

Lost or Damaged Items

SAKE LID STUDIO is not responsible for any lost or damaged items during shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged or if there are any issues with your shipment, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the order and we will offer a resolution, either by issuing a refund or sending a replacement.

Why This Works:

  1. Processing Time:
It's always good to let the customer know how long it will take to ship out their order, and a buffer of 2–3 days is standard.

  2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates:
It sets clear expectations. Shipping costs and delivery times are one of the top concerns for international buyers. Mentioning your shipping method (ePacket) and offering estimates by region shows transparency.

  3. Customs & Duties:
This is often a grey area, but informing customers about potential additional charges upfront is important.

  4. Tracking:
Letting the customer know they will get a tracking number and where to track it reduces the anxiety of waiting.
